Is there someone or some dog that you always have to wait for?

When I park the car at the dog park or at any location, Tonka hops out of the car with unbridled energy and enthusiasm and Arliss makes me wait until he is good and ready. This morning he kept hopping from seat to seat so I couldn't catch him. I opened up the back hatch to try and coax him out the car but that didn't work either. Finally, Arliss let me grab him using the front passenger side door. While all of this was going on, Tonka patiently sat on the sidewalk and enjoyed the sunshine.
